Lineman Rodeo

Cox Sponsors Lineman Rodeo

Since 2006, Cox Industries has sponsored four Lineman’s Rodeos; three in the southeast, (Georgia and Kentucky) and one in South Dakota. Cox donates CCA-ET (emulsion treatment) utility poles for use in event competitions, which are based on traditional lineman tasks and skills. The Pole Climbing competition has subcategories for speed, team relay and hurt man rescues. Attendance usually consists of friends, family members, co-workers and spectators who cheer on the linemen during competition.
