Customized Training
Cox Industries supports our customer base in many ways,
one of those being our customized training opportunities. We offer seminars
that focus on product knowledge education coupled with plant tours, customer
service, sales techniques and leadership skills. These seminars can be
structure based on a 1.5 day to 3 day format depending on your needs. Cox
now has a full-time Human Resource Training Manager on staff to assist in
designing and delivering course materials.
Product
Knowledge: This training segment includes a brief history of Cox
Industries, Inc., an explanation of the wood treating industry and
treatments used by Cox, and a presentation of our broad product line. Two or
three plant tours are also included.
Customer Service: This interactive workshop will help you
identify your customers, anticipate their needs and deliver legendary
customer service. Upon request, Cox can provide a 1, 2 or 3 day Customer
Service Workshop.
Sales Techniques: The book titled "The Little Red Book of
Selling" by Jeffrey Gitomer provides the foundation for the sales component.
Do you want to sharpen your sales skills? If so, come and see what is in
store.
Leadership Skills: In this session you will learn about the
Seven Essentials of Leadership and the ABC Model of Human Behavior. What is
the difference between Leadership and Management? How do you lead people?
How do you become a leader-manager? You'll find the answers to these
questions by attending.
