Heavy Timbers
We have the unique capability of sizing heavy timbers up to a 16"x 24" in lengths up to 40' with our newly installed timber sizer and planer mill operation. Smaller pieces down to as small as 2" x 2" can also be done on site with our planer. Our capability to kiln dry and treat heavy timbers completes our package. The opportunity to buy a sized, dry timber treated as required all from the same source is an advantage to our customers, they can pursue large timber projects and depend on Cox quality and service after they receive the job. We are currently adding specialty heads to run pattern work such as Tongue and Groove, Sloppy V-Groove, Nosed edge material and many other patterns on materials up to 6" in thickness and 12" in width.
